Youfallinlovewithanewcountryyouvisitbecauseitspeoplegreetyouwithawelcomingsmileeverywhereyougo;othercountriesyoujustdon’tlikeeventhoughtheymighthavemorehistory,nature,entertainmentandwhatnotbecausetheirpeopledon’tseemsofriendlyoraccepting.
Youfeellikebuyingfromacertainstorewhenthevendorwelcomesyouinwithasmile,sometimesevenifyouwouldn’tinitiallyhaveboughtanything;andinotherstores,eventhoughtheyhaveexactlywhatyouneedorbetter,youdecidetowalkawaybecausethevendordoesn’tlookwelcomingatall.
Youwanttogiveawaiteragoodtipwhenheservesyouwithasmile,evenifthefoodturnsoutnotthatgood;ontheotherhand,sometimesyou’llhavesomeofthebestfoodever,butyouwon’tfeellikegivingthewaiteratip,evenifyoudo,becausehewasgrumpy.

ForeverengravedinmymindwillbethesmilingfacesofthepeopleofThailand,thefriendlypizzadeliveryboy,thewelcomingsupermarketvendor,thenicecashieratthebank,…etc.
Itisthesesmilesthatkeepmewantingtogoback,andthatkeepusallwantingtogoback;lookingatitfromanotherview,ifwebreakitdownusingbusinesssense,asmileisoneofthemosteffectivemeanstogeneratesalesanddevelopcustomerloyalty.
Ontopofallthat,asmileisaverysimpleandeasythingtodo,soitamazeswhynoonebotherstodoit,itnotonlymakesthepersoninfrontofyoubetter,butitalsomakesyoufeelbetteraswell,andI’mnotmakingthisup,ithasbeenpsychologicallyproven.
Personally,I’dliketoseemoresmilingfacesinthisworld;intheairportswhenIenteranewcountry,incompanies,governmentagencies,restaurants,hotels,banks,everywhere;andIthinkitisuptogovernmentstocampaignaboutthis,andevenmakeitobligatoryincertainimportantplaceslikeairports,hospitals,hotels…etc.

其他国家你就是不喜欢,即使他们可能有更多的历史,自然,娱乐等等,因为他们的人民似乎不那么友好或接受。

在其他商店,即使他们有你需要的或者更好的东西,你决定离开,因为供应商看起来一点也不欢迎你。
